Itinerary

Upon your arrival at the Gateway of Kerala – Cochin (Cochin International Airport or Ernakulam Railway Station), you shall be met by our representative/driver to greet and receive you. Proceed to Munnar, a beautiful hill station known for its tea plantations and picturesque landscapes. Set at an altitude of 5000 to 8000 ft above sea level on the Western Ghats, it is a premier hill station tourist destination in God’s Own Country. Situated at the confluence of three mountain streams, it offers an unending expanse of tea plantations, pristine valleys and mountains, exotic species of flora and fauna in its wild sanctuaries and forests, and the aroma of spice-scented cool air. En route, visit Cheeyapara and Valara Waterfalls, along with a Spice Garden. Upon arrival, check into your hotel or resort. Relax and unwind in the serene surroundings.
After breakfast, we embark on our exploration of Munnar! The sightseeing excursion will lead us to Mattupetty Dam, an exquisite location offering breathtaking views of scenic Munnar. We will then visit Kundala Lake, a natural lake that provides recreational activities such as boating, along with stunning views of the Western Ghats and the adjacent forest. Our journey will also include a visit to Echo Point and a delightful drive through the captivating tea plantations along the route. For those interested in nature, a visit to Eravikulam National Park is highly recommended, where the endangered Nilgiri Tahr is conserved. Please note that the park is generally closed from February to early April due to the calving season. The park operates from 8 AM to 4 PM, offering a unique opportunity to explore its natural beauty and conservation efforts. If closed, you may alternatively visit Rose Garden and Hydel Park. Numerous optional activities are available in Munnar, including visits to tea factories, jeep rides, and elephant rides. Later, return to your hotel or resort.
Today, we shall proceed to Alappuzha for an enchanting cruise across the backwaters of Kerala on board a traditional houseboat. You will check in by noon to explore the serene beauty of the backwaters. Enjoy the ride, delicious cuisine, and an overnight stay with all meals (lunch, dinner, evening tea with snacks, and next day breakfast) served onboard.
Post breakfast, check out of your Houseboat. Depending upon your flight / train time you shall be dropped at the airport / railway station.
